I see that Ralf's domain at www.charlie-music.de is up for sale.
Whilst I can understand Ralf closing the site now we have the "offical" one, there is a wealth of material on there that is not here.
Any chance of agreeing with Ralf to transfer the interviews and press stuff (and anything else not duplicated here)to an "archive" section on this site?

I just wanted to let you, the good folks at charlie,com to know that you are not alone when it comes to uninvited spam. I belong to several car enthusiast & other rock group forums and they all experience this problem. In fact most of these forums have since hired people whose only job description is to delete unwanted spam & spambot intrusion. Its a sad commentary on the world as we know it but there are ways of dealing with it on a personal level. Instead of being notified when & if someone responds to your reply, don't activate this function. Just check back every now and then when its convenient to do so. Not allowing the immediate reply notification really helps cut down the spam invasion. This is by means not completely fool proof but it does help.
So to the board moderators, don't give up, keep the faith and remain vigilant when it comes to the spambots. Also check and see what other websites are doing to combat this problem

If Ralfs site is truely to close, then your suggestion is a very good one.
There's 10 years of fans comments\memories in the Guestbook section alone. Lots of possible contact info, should CHARLIE decide to do something.
Unfortunately, the Forum section of this site, seems to be a regular target for non CHARLIE related excreta.
It more than likely putting a lot of true fans off.

Sorry to report the above but thought you all would want to know that the very 1st charlie music group website is no longer with us. Just tried a little while ago and all I got for my troubles was a "page not found" response. This website was an important link for me because without it, I wouldn't have known that charlie had a new album (CD) "Kitchen's of Distinction or about the current band web site. I guess no one stepped forward to buy the domain itself, I wonder how much something like that would cost anyway? So whatever resource material it might have contained is now lost to the ages of cyberspace.
So tonight while going out with the your friends for a pint or two, raise your glass and silently toast unceremonious death of charlie-music web page, may it rest in peace (wherever it is deleted things go).
