A number of people have asked that the site provides a means for visitors to chat, swap stories, communicate... and so we're happy to oblige!
Right now we're just offering a one-size-fits-all forum but if, in due course, there is demand for more detailed forums (Steve Gadd's sticks, Charlie's Preferred Drinks) then we can do that too.
I was trolling the old Charlie web site and found a link directing me to here, what can I say , I'm thrilled. I was worried that the band had called it quits because of the "this domain is for sale message". However now I see the method to the madness.
I been a big fan of this band since the good old days (70's). Honestly I lost track of Charlie in the late 80's as many bands I advidly listened to through out the years began to call it quits. In fact it was by sheer accident that I found out that Charlie had released a new CD of music (Kitchen's of Distinction) while doing an unrelated search on Amazon.com.
I know you've had some bad luck vis a vis record company deals falling through. If it makes you feel any better groups such as Simple Minds & Echo and the Bunnymen have also experienced similar business nightmares. Perhaps you all could pool your resources and buy your own recording studio, just a thought.
Anyway I'm glad your back and I do hope you all stick around for awhile. The fact that this forum & this web site even exists is a testament to your enduring popularity, musically speaking. Best wishes for a long and continued music career.
